Big changes are coming to health care, and JACL Health Benefits Trust is closely monitoring the requirements of the new health care law. Due to the new law, we are restructuring the legal framework of our organization. During this transition period, we are not accepting new applications, but we should be back on track as a new organization sometime in Fall 2013.
The new health care law is still evolving, but one rule is now clear; on January 1st 2014, it will be mandatory for all Americans to have a health insurance plan in place. It will be our role in the community to assist with the enrollment process, whether you are an individual or a small business.
